Means that today I spent my time as Glut Woman, using up surplus lemons (cake, still lemonade), eggs (cake) and onions (soup), and saving the world from food waste. (We won't mention the kiwi fruit, OK: they're my super-secret stupid nemesis.)

A shame there was no surplus butter, or you could have used the eggs and lemons and butter to make lemon curd.

Been there, done that. With only me eating the stuff, it joins the queue of stuff that only I eat and there's only so many slices of bread to put it on.

Also, since I have been told "no" to further animals, I can't keep anything to poduce the milk for butter ;-)
