muninnhuginnSo, needing to consult Tennyson (we live in strange days indeed, when the ravens need to look up lawn tennis-son), I found the usual abandoned ersatz bookmarks:
Irritating notepad: only worked with pencil or metallic pens. Not a user-friendly thing to invite messages on your college room door.
Also, an empty envelope, the handwriting very distinctive and eventually recognisable. I had to think hard about who had written to me from
but I think I got it.
I got my poems and put the markers back.
