But unfortunately, the blasted beast seems to be able to count to four. As soon as leaf five arrives, he's at it again (assuming it is he [was violently sick this evening] and not she [was observed eating Looby Loo's cress plants yesterday]).

However, the "oh-my-god he's eaten the avocado plant, let's start another in case it doesn't make it" stunt double is thriving, unchewed. Tho' it's not yet crossed the more than four leaves threshold....
