Finished Object

Started: Spring 1987 or thereabouts
Embroidery completed: about 20-odd years ago
Finished edges: 2 weeks back
We didn't really have anywhere for it in the old house. Here, there's a hearth. Somewhere I have pictures of cats long gone "helping" with it.



(I believe there was a bet, once, about whether this would be done before a certain car was fettled... armb might recall....)

The car has been fettled, but not by me. It got donated to Soham Village College car club, who sold it to raise money.

Nope, I don't think you can do photos in the comments. I'll just have to imagine. But how cool to get to fix up a sports car at school! It's great it didn't end its life in bits.
