It knows where to go! Maybe more to come.

We're hoping it's one of the tadpoles from the spring that's made it to full size. We had lots of mating activity and lots of spawn--and then nothing. Except the plant-life growing to make it harder to see what was going on.

(And there were several "plops" when I last went to check, so maybe we've a few of them.)

We do have frogs in the garden, but no pond (and I don't think they use the swimming pool).
My mother's pond started draining because of a leak a few months ago, and is now completely empty. I heard today that the neighbours found there were newts in it, but managed to rescue them and take them to another (natural) pond elsewhere.
