I was wearing my wellingtons to garden* in. Should've worn my hiking boots.
Ouch.

*For values of "garden" that include pulling out many brambles--and not much else.

Over here (Ottawa, Canada) we're on permanent "gardening leave" but gardening season hasn't yet arrived. It's that season where you can't yet put away all the winter clothes but sometimes need the spring-to-summer ones. In any case, I hope your feet recover soon!
