Since the start of lockdown, we've experienced:
  • Megson performing live from their living room with a good selection of familiar songs, and dogs. We'll be back for a second helping
  • The Burnaby concert from a variety of locations instead of Emmanuel's concert hall in the Queen's Building. Good fun
  • Hobbitathon: Andy Serkis reading The Hobbit which is how I filled the VE day bank holiday. Lovely, though I find it disconcerting how AS is beginning to resemble an old friend
  • Formula E and Formula 1 done virtually. The battle between Leclerc and Albon at the virtual Interlagos is a classic (I may be a tad biased: the real Interlagos is my favourite circuit).
  • Games: played Arctic Scavengers twice, and remain unconvinced; Station Master; Ticket to Ride

We played a two-player Carcassone-plus-river plus princess-and-dragon plus count plus inns-and-cathedrals plus traders-and-builders plus king-and-scout. So not quite the full set--and no-one actually used the count or set themselves up within the city walls. But the options were there. Somehow, the notion of the kitchen sink tile appeals.

Must buy the second river and the tower for Xmas.
