[We may not be away, or even on holiday chez nous....]

Fresh coffee brewing, pain au chocolat waiting. We're ready for a very late breakfast. We're just going finish off making the raita for later (we're eating Thai but we still want something cooling with it). White wine chills in the 'fridge alongside the panna cotta and pots au chocolat (the latter two organic; the wine, not).

We're going to clear and polish the dining table, set out breakfast, tell the cats not to bother us for at least an hour--and try to overcome our reluctance to get on with proofing A's stuff (our comments on the first sentence have been keeping us awake at night since Thursday last and we finally wrote them down at about 6.30 am this Thursday).
