Let's defenestrate 2005!

According to the story in BBC online, 'blog' is the most looked-up term on the Merriam-Webster site. So far, so boring, really. But look down the list. At number ten, there's 'defenestration' (which has to be one of the best words ever--the action's quite tempting at times too). we're tempted to go and look it up several times a day next year just to get it to top the list.

Is the presence of defenestration on the list somehow connected with people's struggles with a certain operating system?
