I barely register the content of my quote of the day from Quote Me On It--maybe a nod of recognition or occasional agreement. Today (having dredged it from the spam on the mail server), courtesy of JK Rowling I read this:

There are enough people in the world to give you a hard time. A friend is someone who gives unconditional support.

Really. Really?

Okay, folks, I'm just off to nail bomb the nearest busy city centre, napalm the neighbours, train my tanks on anything left standing.... You'll all give me a bit of that "unconditional support", 'Kay.

Hog-bloody-warts. Or is that wash?

Oh, and I'd've used a semicolon in the middle too

Oh, dear. That explains why Harry and his pals only win by breaking all the rules and imperiling the safety of the universe, I suppose.
