Oops! It just doesn't focus and there's so many floaters I can't see at all. Not had quite such a clear cut onset of a migraine attack in many years. The eye went an hour back and the headache's just cut in.

Nope. I shan't do the robotics exercise I was planning. I shall plant seeds and water the garden.

My usual recommendation would be to *not* go out into the sunshiney garden. A dark room and a cold cloth over the eyes would probably be more effective, plus of course your drug of choice. I've had those since I was 16, and it's always my right eye, too.

You're almost certainly right, except I find the onset of migraine makes me so physically restless. I've been wearing grooves in the floor as it is. Planting in company of two chickens is mainly therapeutic--until they start eating the seeds, that is.

It's settled now to mildly interrupted vision and less headache: I'll save the painkillers for bedtime.

The longer I delay treatment, the worse mine get. Mind you, this doesn't stop me from pushing myself to ridiculous extremes. I draw the line at getting sick. When that happens, don't anyone come near me.
