Got the latest course results:

• Robotics: 95%
• Climate Change: pass (of a very ordinary looking kind judging from the comments)

I now I have 1/12 of a BSc.

I was really worried about the science course, almost conviced I'd failed. Now, of course, I'm just annoyed about that missed 5% in the robots.

T1* courses lead you through things and make it terribly easy to do well. In comparison, I found S199 terrifying.

I'm finding the whole variety in how courses are marked and how marks and feedback given quite boggling. With two of us doing courses here (undergrad and post-grad) we're covering almost every initial letter (so to speak) and hence diffence in course admin, culture.... There's a research project in there....

Just getting marks and no feedback, whilst maybe understandable in courses without individual tutor contact, really is the pits tho'. You've every right to feel annoyed.

It is a bit over-complex, isn't it? I mean, I can understand some variety, but it's more like "let's pick four or five different methods of assessment and randomly throw them at the courses and see which stick".

I rather suspect the OU's comments, if I get any at all, will be along the lines of "well, you should have done A102 then, shouldn't you" to which my response will be short and unprintable. ;)

Though I know that, when you get a mark like that, rather than being purely pleased, it's easy to also get frustrated with yourself for the few marks that you did lose. Don't, because really, that's a brilliant result.
