muninnhuginn A very long time ago, the transparent lid of my jewelry box was broken (don't ask how long ago as it's embarassing) and I'd planned on replacing the perspex with an embroidered panel. I'm now in the process of creating the panel. Progress, so far:
The initials are from Cross Stitch Borders and Motifs by Jana Hauschild Lindberg. I may have missed a trick with these, and perhaps should have changed the crosses into a grid to mirror the outer portions of the leaves.
Next up, half repeats of the central motif at each end. I'm still mulling over whether to use single strands and no gold to allow the central section to stand out.
ETA: 14 count aida, Anchor stranded in 1088, 46, 362, Anchor lame in 303.
